“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” -Albert Schweitzer

I find that some journeys are so long, we forget to take care of our dreams. Maybe that path you took wasn’t the right one, and you’ve chosen to let your light dim. Was the mission you set out to do too consuming?

I can distinctly remember the moments my light was rekindled… sometimes we aren’t even aware of the lack of flame we carry, but the moment someone comes along and throws a log into our dimming coals, suddenly we grow. Was it a compliment on all the hard work you have been doing? Was it an investment into your personal dream that made you begin to burn hot? What are your moments that someone took the time to rekindle your fire? There are seasons to everything, and we will always have moments where someone has rekindled our light, but lets make sure we challenge one another to be the person to toss a log into someones coals….pay it forward in kindness, remember what it felt like to get your light back and be a blessing to someone else. Let us live with gratitude and repay the kindness we are so thankful for.

I hope today you stop and think of those who rekindled your light…. but the important question today is this…..

Have you taken the time to thank them?

The perfect example of this is our Alexa, from Oregon… we invested into her dreams, and now she is on fire…stay tuned…
